E Kalyan 2024 Scholarship: Know in detail benefits, application process

The E Kalyan Bihar Scholarship comprises two important scholarships offered by the Bihar Government to encourage higher studies for female students in the state. These are the “Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana” for classes 10+12 students and the “Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana” for female graduate students.

While all the major scholarships provided by the government are listed on the National Scholarships portal, these two major scholarships are available on the E-Kalyan Bihar portal of the state government. The key aim of these scholarships is to encourage higher education for girls and make it economically feasible.

E Kalyan Bihar Scholarship: What is the E-Kalyan Bihar portal?

It is an online platform of the Bihar Government dedicated to providing all the information related to the major schemes (including scholarships) offered by the state. Besides scholarships, the portal also contains relevant details about various government schemes in the departments of social welfare and education, election commission, and the departments of SC/ST welfare, backward classes welfare, minority welfare, labour resources, disaster management, state health committee, rural development, etc.

E Kalyan Bihar Scholarship: Benefits
